Yosh Asato's 25 years of experience in the architecture and design industry include a long tenure leading AIA San Francisco's design-related programs and communications initiatives. Prior to launching Asato Communications, she served as Director of Marketing for Skidmore, Owings & Merrill's San Francisco office, a role that encompassed project-related research and public relations.

An active member of the design community, Yosh served as a founder and co-editor of TraceSF, a journal focused on urban issues in the San Francisco Bay Area, and contributed to Architect's Newspaper, Urban Land and Metropolis POV. She also is a co-founder and director of StoreFrontLab a small space for big ideas, dedicated to fostering dialogue and public engagement.
